In Memory of Marty and Laurel Rojo. Generation 1.

Since the beginning, Marty and Laurel had a special connection. Marty saw a beauty in Laurel Grisby that others didn't see, and Laurel saw a kindness in Marty Rojo that others didn't see in that daredevil.
They started their life together at the local pub, not sure what to expect for the future but very happy with the present.

Marty told Laurel that they would leave a legacy in Riverview, and they quickly started on the process.

They didn't have much in the beginning, but they had each other.

And soon a few more!

And then some more!

It was hard work, but by selling Laurel's paintings and having Marty work from home in addition to going to work, they were able to provide for their family.

And as the family got bigger and grew older...

So did their home.

They taught their children the importance of hard work.

And although sometimes times were hard...

They stuck together and made it better.

Through all the tears...

And all the cheers...

And all the years...
They had each other.

R.I.P. Marty Rojo (106) and Laurel Rojo (95).
Marty and Laurel are survived by their son Marty Jr. and his partner Bradly, their son Mathew and his wife Wu, their daughter Leesha and her husband Dimitri, their daughter Luna and her husband Amit, their daughter Lilith, their son Micheal and his wife Sharon, and their grand children: Dimitri Jr, Sherry, Tawnya, Ariel, Amit Jr., and Noe.

Awww. :) Such a sweet in memorium post. I dread the day when my own Sims pass away, it's hard letting them go! I'm always tempted to resurrect them, but then my town would just be full of ghosts by now.

I always loved Laurel Grisby, too -- it always makes me smile when I see a descendant of hers walking around with her signature nose and ears, in my town... :D

That was a good, in memory of. It made me feel happy for them that they had a good life and sad that it had to end.
